Description & origin

The Blue Agave is a succulent plant known for its bluish, spiny rosette of leaves. It is widely cultivated for tequila production. In Portugal, it adapts well to dry, sunny gardens.

Size

Can reach up to 100 cm in height and 150 cm in width in domestic cultivation.

Evergreen foliage that maintains its bluish color year-round.

This species does not produce flowers in domestic cultivation.
